I would call La llorana a "hole in the wall". It's definitely nothing fancy but the service is great, the drinks and food are delicious, and the ambiance is fun. We came for happy hour and they had great deals! Overall, a great experience and I would recommend!

Loved the exotic drinks and the food. The service was great and attentive, but it is a very small place. I ordered birria tacos which were tasty. They created a birthday dessert from churros. It's off the beaten path but worth it for the creative drinks and good food.

What a nice little surprise to find this place for drinks. I ordered the "Inolvidable" and it was truly unforgettable. The best cocktail I have had in Philly and possibly the country.

Came in for a quick solo dinner the night I moved out of the neighborhood. I wish I had tried it before the last possible moment! The vibe is quaint with a bar and a few tables, but they have a Christmas tree up and it was cozy. I came for happy hour so was able to get a $9 dealer's choice cocktail. It was some for of balanced berry but spicy gin drink with a cute aesthetic. I never go for something like that but I'm super glad that I did! I got one steak and one al pastor taco, and both were pretty delicious, thought the al pastor was slightly more flavorful. It came with a fresh salsa and garnishes to brighten up the flavors. Service was quick and the food came out within a few minutes of ordering even though there were a few other tables. Overall I'd come back again for happy hour, and even maybe just with some friends anytime because the cocktail was awesome.

Stopped by to indulge in the happy hour! The red sangria was good so I had it x 2. They are heavy on the jalapeños ! The nachos were good but could use more cheese. The chicken taco was really good! The fried shrimp were overly breaded! Our waitress was friendly and we never had to look for assistance. This was a solid happy hour experience.

Amazing service! Perfect for a dinner spot before you go bar hopping. Came here for a dinner with some friends and we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. For the table, we got the queso fundido, which was good and cheesy. It came with 5 small tortilllas, and we added mushrooms and peppers to it. Wish it were bigger for the price. The cochinita tacos were very juicy and delicious. I like the sauce that came with it because it had a kick to it. Service was reasonably quick too. I like their social media campaign where if you tag them on Instagram with food/drinks, you'll get a free margarita! The guava margarita with tajin on the rim was up my alley. We will be back here for drinks!

While searching for "happy hour" places to try I stumbled across this place! They have a great selection of food and drinks for under $7! The sangria may have been thes best I've tasted yet! Ive only been twice and both times I've sat at the bar. The bartenders are so nice! Most happy hours end at 6pm but this place serves until 7pm! They have a lot of outside seating for nice weather, it's a nice little gem you should try!
